Proposed Kipchabo Tea Factory – Nandi County
The project comprised of setting up general warehouse (2 no.), a withering unit, a production unit warehouse, service bays, staff houses, a steel structure of a 90 M3 ,elevated water tank and a facility for onsite sanitation. Warehouses and service bays are steel roofed structures of 15 m span Girder Trusses as roof structure. The scope of work included alignment and building foundation soil investigations, topographical survey, design, detailing, production of working drawings and ‘as built’ drawings, construction supervision and defects liability support services.
The total construction cost was Kshs 588 million.
