Proposed KIRDI Techno Centre

MultiScope Consulting Engineers was commissioned as the civil/structural engineer of the Proposed Research Technology and Innovation Laboratories for the Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute (KIRDI). The  design entails an eighteen (16)-storey office block including 4 basement Levels, (3 tower blocks) designed to resist earthquake  and wind loads .Comprised of  lecture  rooms  and lecture theatres, restaurant and accommodation facilities and 3 basement floors for parking, access roads, storm and foul water drainage system.

The  4th basement is dedicated for nano-technology laboratories and one tower for laboratories and research.

The total construction cost was Kshs 5.33 billion.
